Of course, because it is worth it.

Before asking you to use, All in One SEO Pack promises you that it will optimize your wordpress blog/site for search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo, ‘automatically’. However, let me clarify one thing – when it says automatically, it means that if you use it the way it demands to be used.

So in order to make it really work, you really need to pay a little of your post creation moments to the plugin and if you do, then this plugin is surely going to show you the magic.

How to install All in One SEO Pack ?

  2. Now go to the plugins section in the admin panel of your wordpress site and then activate the ALL in One SEO Plugin there.
  3. Having it activated, go to All in One SEO >> General Settings and set the options as you want to set those. Let the plugin get set up according to your need and wish. Now All in One SEO Pack is ready for use.

Canonical URLs in All In One SEO Pack >> General Settings :

This is something we think you’ll wish to know about. When you are writing a post, you want that post to be features on various pages like archives, category pages and in the home page feed too. By letting your website show full posts on all these pages, you allow your website to unwillingly create duplicate content which in Google’s sight isn’t something admirable.

When you use All in One SEO Pack, it asks you to choose if you wish to show canonical URLs ( See what Google Says About Canonical URLs ) in your pages which show your posts as feeds or search results. Using this way, you get safer as your feed pages or search results show the excerpt of the page followed by permanent links to the original post, thus making it fair in sight of search Engines.

How to Use ALL In One SEO Pack – Settings :

Having got done with the general setting, you’ll now see the Homepage settings option, where you can set how search engines see and display your home page in their search results. In this setting, you need to specify Title for your home page, description and meta keywords for your website. If you don’t make any change here, information from your website shall be retrieved and used by the plugin.

Then you’ll see the Keyword Settings option where you can specify how All in One SEO Pack assigns meta keywords for your content. You can setup to show the categories of your posts to act as keywords, tags of posts, custom keywords assigned automatically by the plugin or all three of these.

We recommend you to let the plugin choose the keyword too, along with other options as your wish, so surely select the third option. In between categories and tags, pay priority to tags as categories aren’t that widely elaborated as tags are and number of tags are generally not kept at limitations like number of categories.

In Title Settings, you can assign if you wish the search result titles to be different from the actual titles of your posts or pages. However, this setting must not be activated if your blog has variety of contents. However, this might be helpful if you want to add prefix or suffix to all the posts of your blog in bulk.

In Webmaster Verification Settings , you need to enter the verification IDs you get at Google webmaster, alexa and other websites. The plugin then adds the verification ID to the meta section in <head>…</head> of your website.

In Google Settings, you can verify your Google authorship and add Google Analytics tracking ID too. This helps you in getting a publisher link in search result from Google+ page and track your traffic data.

In NoIndex Settings, you can set up whether you want a certain page to gt indexed in search engines or not. You can check the section you want to disable indexing of.
